"Geometric Shapes" is from the series of Bedtime Short Stories. This is an original story brought to you by the Reading Klub.

Once upon a time, there was a group of geometric shapes, each boasting about their unique characteristics and abilities.
They all came together to build a house, but they couldn't agree on which shape should take the lead.
The triangle was the first to speak up, "I am the strongest shape. My three sides make me more stable and durable than any of you."
The square quickly interjected, "But I am the most practical shape. My four sides are equal, making me perfect for building walls and floors."
The circle chimed in, "Don't forget about me! I am the most versatile shape. My curved edges make me useful in a variety of ways, from building round rooms to creating rounded corners."
The pentagon wasn't going to let the others have all the fun. "I am the most unique shape. My five sides make me stand out from the rest of you. Plus, I can be used to create interesting angles and patterns."
As the shapes continued to argue, they realized that they were each valuable in their own way.
They began to work together, each contributing their unique talents and skills to build the house.
The triangle provided the foundation, the square built the walls and floors, the circle added the round windows, and the pentagon created intricate patterns on the roof.
In the end, they all came to see that it was their diversity that made the house strong and beautiful. Each shape played a crucial role in its construction, and without all of them working together, the house would not have been possible.
The shapes learned an important lesson that day, despite their differences, they were all equally important and valuable.
The same goes for people. We may come from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, but it is our diversity that makes us strong.
Just like the house, when we work together and embrace each other's differences, we can accomplish amazing things. The individual is nothing without the collective strength of the group.
